Montoux (brand strategy and identity) ​

Montoux were a start up mobile application that populated real-time data to produce detailed reporting outcomes for the insurance sector. They had a product name (Montoux) but no logo, no identity, no brand personality, tone and manner or brand palette.

Through a series of lengthy workshops we got to know the ins and outs of the product itself, its benefits, its core proposition to market and most importantly its audience.

We worked with Montoux to craft a detailed brand story (or elevator pitch) around what Montoux was and for who. From there we worked to define what they were and what they weren't in order to define a personality for the brand (e.g sophisticated versus casual or innovative versus grassroots). Upon agreeing this we were able to test all creative recommendations against these markers.

​A visual language with brand colours, icons, info-graphic styles and imagery began to take shape. All of which were supported by a strong tone and manner for all the copy / content creation that was required to support this brand, and in turn their product offering.
